Manuscript scope

JOTS welcomes theoretical, conceptual, empirical, and applied tourism research that contributes to sustainability, destination management, policy learning, or community impact. Submissions should make a clear scholarly contribution and identify the research context, method, findings, and implications.

Before submitting

Authors should review the journal scope, ethics expectations, data policy, plagiarism policy, copyright terms, and peer-review policy before sending a manuscript. Work must be original, not under review elsewhere, and prepared for double-anonymous review where applicable.

Submission route

Manuscripts should be submitted through the journal submission route rather than by email. Editorial email should be used for pre-submission questions, access problems, appeals, or publication-record queries.

For policy questions, contact editor@otsjournal.org.
